4. Billing

  • •Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly.
  • •Plans renew automatically until you cancel.
  • •Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
  • •Upgrade: takes effect immediately. You pay the difference for the rest of the billing period.
  • •Downgrade: takes effect at the end of the current billing period. If you have more locations, staff or cards than the new plan allows, you must reduce them first.

5. Cancellation and refunds

  • •You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
  • •Payments are non-refundable, including for partly used periods, unless the law requires otherwise.
  • •After cancellation, your account moves to the Free plan.

6. Late payment

  • •If a payment fails, we will notify you and retry.
  • •If it is still unpaid 7 days after the due date, we may limit your account to Free plan features.
  • •Your customers' stamps and rewards are kept while the account is limited.

7. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

  • •Give accurate account and business information
  • •Keep your login details safe and be responsible for what your staff do in the account
  • •Train your staff to use the cashier app correctly
  • •Honour the rewards shown on your cards (see section 8)
  • •Use Yoybo in line with all laws that apply to your business

8. Rewards

  • •You decide your stamps, rewards and reward expiry, and you are responsible for giving the rewards your customers earn.
  • •Yoybo does not provide or pay for rewards.
  • •If you change your card settings, rewards that customers have already earned stay valid.
  • •If you close your account, you must tell your customers and give them a fair chance to use rewards they have earned.

9. Customer data

  • •You are the controller of your customers' data. Yoybo processes it on your behalf. Our data processing terms form part of these terms; you can request a copy at [email protected].
  • •You must have a lawful basis to collect your customers' data and show them a privacy notice.
  • •Use customer data only for your own loyalty program and marketing. Do not sell it or share it with others.
  • •If you close your account, you must stop using customer data obtained through Yoybo, except where the law requires you to keep it.

10. Messages to customers

  • •You may send marketing email, SMS or card notifications only to customers who have agreed to receive them, as required by the laws of your country (for example UK PECR, EU ePrivacy rules, Turkey's İYS rules).
  • •You are responsible for the content of your messages and for having consent.
  • •Email and SMS campaigns are sent through the email or SMS provider account that you connect to Yoybo; that provider's terms also apply.
  • •To protect customers, card notifications are limited (for example, Google Wallet allows up to 3 notifications per card per day), and we may set further limits.
  • •Location reminders are shown by the customer's phone. We do not guarantee when or whether they appear.

11. Acceptable use

You must not use Yoybo to:

  • •Send spam, misleading offers or unlawful content
  • •Promote illegal products, gambling, adult content, tobacco or alcohol to minors
  • •Upload logos, images or text you do not have the right to use
  • •Copy, resell or reverse engineer the service
  • •Attack, overload or try to access other businesses' data

12. Third-party services

Cards depend on Apple Wallet, Google Wallet and other third-party services. Their own terms apply. We are not responsible if a third party changes or stops its service (for example, Google Wallet is not available in some countries).

13. Content and intellectual property

  • •You keep ownership of your logo, images and text. You allow us to use them to provide the service, including showing them on your cards, posters and pages.
  • •Yoybo, its software, designs and templates belong to Yoybo Ltd.
  • •Text suggestions generated with AI tools are provided for convenience. Check them before you publish.

14. Ending the agreement

By you: Cancel at any time (see section 5). You can ask us to delete your account by email.

By us: We may suspend or close your account if you:

  • •Do not pay
  • •Seriously or repeatedly break these terms
  • •Misuse customer data or send unlawful messages
  • •Use Yoybo for illegal activity

We will give notice where reasonably possible. When an account is closed, customer cards stop working and we delete account data as described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Service availability

We aim to keep Yoybo available at all times but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance and change features.

16. Limitation of liability

  • •Yoybo is provided "as is".
  • •We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profit, lost customers or lost data.
  • •Our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in those 12 months, or £100 if you are on the Free plan.
  • •Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

17. Changes to these terms

  • •Price changes: at least 60 days' notice by email.
  • •Other important changes: at least 30 days' notice.
  • •If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If a dispute cannot be solved within 30 days, the courts of London have jurisdiction. This does not remove any rights you have under the mandatory laws of your country.
